BMKG: Dry Season Predicted Happens Until the End of October

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that dry season will keep happening until the end of October. As for rainy season, will predictably pour down Jakarta in the upcoming November. 

For artificial rain, The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) doing it, yet seeing the current condition, chance to make artificial rain is very small

Head of Analysis and Climate Information Sub-Division for BMKG, Ardhasena Sopaheluwakan stated, rainy season will start to pour in mid-November with rainfall 150 millimeters per month. 

"Dry season predictably happens until the end of October. Even though raining happens in September and October, but it is still sporadic, thus it is not enough yet if it is said to be rainy season," said Sena in his office, Wednesday (7/29). 

Dry Season, Rice Farmers in East Jakarta Remain Productive

According to him, dry season this year is much longer compared with previous year. It is because affected by El Nino phenomenon where in normal condition sun temperature is collected in West Pacific Sea, but impact of El Nino heat is released evenly. Consequently sea water cold then evaporation decreased.
